Non Neon (Story 1 of 2)

What makes it special: The pink neon hidden under gradient that was supposed to glow in the dark under the neon light. It didn't but I guess this happened because I went to a club with the wrong lightning. At daylight the design looks pleasant.

How long it lasts: Four days. If you break this into steps steadily adding layers of gradient, glitter of just top coat, you can extend it to a week or more.

To cook this look you need:
  • Three kitties
  • Base coat
  • Top coat
  • Neon pink nail polish
  • Purple nail polish
  • Gray nail polish
  • Small sponge
  • Thin tape for nails
  • Tweezers and scissors

Steps:

  1. Apply the base coat and wait to dry
  2. Apply the neon  pink nail polish - in my case I had to do two layers. Wait to dry.
  3. Cut about 40 small pieces of tape
  4. When the pink nail polish is completely dry place about 4 pieces on each finger and press them gently
  5. On the sponge put a line of purple nail polish and another one next to it a line of gray nail polish
  6. Start tapping on the nail to create the gradient
  7. Remove the tape from the nails with the help of the tweezers
  8. Apply top coat
  9. Repeat with the other fingers
